Peter Nichols, CRE, retired in 2019 as principal and managing director of NorthStar Ally, LLC, after an accomplished career in commercial real estate in the Greater Boston area.
Peter's vast experience includes large and complex acquisitions and entitlement campaigns, facility redevelopment, implementation of strategic plans and incremental asset optimization. He built a strong reputation for strategic consulting in commercial real estate, advising institutional, corporate, municipal, and private clients.
In addition to multiple professional association roles, Peter has always highly prioritized community service. For over 10 years, he served as the vice chairman of the New England Baptist Hospital, receiving the Kirkby Memorial Service Award in 2017 for outstanding dedication and service. Peter has also dedicated his time to town commissions, special purpose committees, municipal zoning advisory committees, school boards, and youth hockey coaching. He has served as Chair of the New London Housing Commission for over 5 years.
A graduate of Middlebury College, Peter resides in New London, New Hampshire, and enjoys spending time with his wife, three adult children and eight grandchildren.
