Most of us, if given the chance, would like to leave some kind of lasting legacy to show that our lives have made a difference in our community. We'd like to know that we've contributed in some way to an important work or cause that will benefit the lives of others for generations to come.

Planned gifts and bequests have been instrumental at every turn for the hospital, from gifts of land where the hospital sits today to generous bequests that have made possible the purchase of medical equipment.

Since its founding in 1918, New London Hospital (NLH) has benefited from the generosity and foresight of individuals who wished to shape the future of the community. A planned gift gives you the opportunity to make a personal statement to help shape the future of NLH and to leave a lasting legacy.

Estate planning and bequests

There are a variety of planned gift opportunities available in support of NLH:

  • Gifts by will or trust
  • Naming us in your assets
  • Life income gifts

NLH adheres to the American Council on Gift Annuities (ACGA) Model Standards of Practice. Current rates for gift annuities may be found on the ACGA website.

All planned gifts will be recognized with membership in our Planned Giving Society.
