In line with our mission, we prioritize personalized, friendly care. Our certified phlebotomists are skilled professionals who understand the importance of making patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visit.
Convenience is paramount. Located on the main level at NLH, we strive to make access to our services as easy as possible for our patients. Registration is required before every laboratory visit, even if you have a doctor's appointment the same day and have already registered for that appointment. Short wait times ensure that patients spend less time waiting and more time receiving the care they need.
However, we must address the staffing challenges that forced the temporary closure of our services at Newport Health Center (NHC). We understand the frustration this caused for our patients, but we are pleased to share that we recently reopened our NHC Lab service from 8am-12pm, Monday through Friday. It is our hope to maintain adequate staffing levels to continue these hours of operations at NHC.
In the meantime, our commitment to providing exceptional care remains unchanged at NLH. We continue to offer posting of results to myDH within 72 hours of release and immediate electronic transmission of completed test results to your NLH provider. Our dedicated team remains committed to serving our patients with the highest level of care and professionalism.
