New London Hospital (NLH), a member of Dartmouth Health, raised more than $80,000 during its 100th annual Hospital Days celebration, continuing a century-old tradition of community support for local healthcare.
Hospital Days, held July 30 through Aug. 1, brought together residents, businesses, community organizations, and visitors from across the Lake Sunapee region for a weekend of family-friendly activities, entertainment, and the annual parade through downtown New London.
Proceeds from this year’s event support programs and initiatives that strengthen the care and services available to patients and families served by NLH and the Newport Health Center.
“We are deeply grateful for the support of our 100th Hospital Days,” said Tia Delampan, director of development at NLH. “The weekend was a wonderful celebration of community and philanthropy, thanks to our sponsors, volunteers, staff, and all who attended the events. Every dollar raised will stay local, allowing us to continue to provide quality care close to home.”
This year’s Hospital Days marked 100 years since the community first came together for the tradition, which has evolved over the decades while maintaining its central purpose: bringing people together in support of NLH and the communities it serves.
The 2026 celebration featured the theme “A Century of Celebration,” inviting parade participants to showcase favorite decades with their floats, costumes, and walking groups.
