This year's theme is: Life is a Circus: Step right up to help your community hospital! Join us for the 99th Annual Hospital Days Parade on Saturday, August 2, 2025 beginning at 10:00AM!
Gather your friends, family, educators, doctors, nurses, or colleagues and invite them to join you in this year's parade! You can organize a group walk, wear a fun and unique costume, ride a bike, or showcase your antique car or your musical talent. The possibilities are limitless, so don't miss out on the excitement! We invite you to have fun with the circus theme – we can’t wait to see your creativity!
Recognition will be awarded in the following categories: The Most Creative Entry, The Best Theme Entry, and The Most Colorful and Unique Entry.
We’re thrilled to announce that this year’s Hospital Days celebration will serve as a champion for access to life’s essentials – nutritious food, personal care items, and emergency assistance – through our Patient and Family Community Care Initiatives. Your generosity will help to grow and sustain these vital programs, creating real, lasting impact for individuals and families in need.
We kindly request all submissions for parade participation on or before Friday, July 11, 2025.

2025 Grand Marshals:
We are THRILLED to announce the Grand Marshals for the 2025 New London Hospital Days Parade: Our Pet Therapy Dogs!
The Pet Therapy Program at New London Hospital (NLH) is designed to ease pain, anxiety, depression, and fatigue while offering comfort and emotional support. Over time, it has become a beloved and uplifting part of the hospital environment.
The current stars of the program include Myrtle, a Golden Retriever/Labrador mix; Zoe, an Australian Shepherd/Toy Poodle mix; and two Golden Retrievers, Dudley and Clifford. These certified therapy dogs, along with their devoted handlers—Carrie Bouton, Kim Putnam, and Steve Tybus—bring immeasurable joy to patients, families, and staff alike.
