The Art Program is overseen by the Friends of New London Hospital Art Committee. The committee is a volunteer group of local artists and community members. The program draws from the extensive art community in the area, inviting artists to exhibit and sell their work or submit their works for permanent display.
It is known that art can play a powerful role in bringing comfort and relief to those receiving treatment or care in a hospital setting. We’re delighted to have the opportunity to enhance the environment of New London Hospital for our patients, families, guests, and staff with interesting and beautiful artwork.

Rotating art exhibits
The art exhibits rotate on average every four months. Art is displayed in five exhibit areas off the hospital’s main lobby. Artwork in the exhibit is traditionally available for sale. Each artist pledges to donate a portion of their proceeds to support the hospital’s Annual Fund.
On display now are the works of Garrett Evans.
