Lori Richer, MD, Family Medicine physician in the New London Practices, has accepted the position as Medical Director, Physician Practices Quality. Dr. Richer will act as a resource and leader for quality improvement in areas that impact clinical operations in the physician practices. She will provide clinical guidance and direction in the design, implementation, measurement and attainment of outpatient quality initiatives.
Dr. Richer received her medical training from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah and was a resident with the Dartmouth Family Practice Residency program in Concord, NH. She joined New London Hospital in 2006. Dr. Richer is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She was recently elected President-elect of the New London Hospital Medical Staff and is Chair of the Medical Section. She is also a member of the Quality Committee of the Medical Staff.
The Medical Director of Physician Practices Quality works with peers to identify quality initiatives in the physician practices and serves as Chair of the Physician Practices Quality Improvement Committee.
Dr. Richer is a resident of Newbury.
