The Art of Healing

NLH to Add Performing Arts with Live Piano Performances

Through a generous donation from the Sparks Family of
New London, NLH has acquired a Baldwin Grand Piano that now resides
in the hospital’s second floor main lobby. A program of live musical
performances is planned as part of the hospital’s initiative to use the arts
to promote health and well-being. “We are pleased to add the performing
arts to our visual arts program of rotating exhibits,” said NLH President
and CEO Bruce King. “The arts enhance the healing and patient-centered
environment we strive to provide.”

NLH welcomes experienced pianists to partner with us as the performing arts
program develops. Please email
or call 603-526-5084 if you are a pianist interested in performing at the hospital.
