ABC’s Childcare Center Turns 30

ABC’s Childcare Center, located at NLH, first
opened its doors on August 4, 1986. Established
to provide hospital staff with onsite childcare,
ABC’s started with one classroom, two staff
members and five employee children. Fast-
forward to 2016, and the Center now has three
classrooms, 14 employees and up to 40 children
enrolled from ages six weeks to six years old,
providing child care services for both NLH
employees and community parents.

“We are so fortunate that ABC’s has been part of
