

The Newport Health Center is an ongoing commitment by the Board of Trustees of New London Hospital to the Newport community. Completely renovated and expanded in June 2003, the center offers primary care, gynecology, podiatry, occupational health, laboratory, x-ray, mammography, physical therapy and sports medicine services. The center has evening hours, new patient care areas, and all physical therapy and rehab services in one location. Same day/next day appointments are available.

The following is a partial list of the services offered by Newport Health Center as a group practice:
- Allergy shots
- Routine health care for all ages, including cancer screening
- Pediatric care, including routine visits, immunizations and acute illnesses
- Women's health care, including pap smears, and gynecological problems
- Inpatient services through New London Hospital for acute illnesses
- Occupational health screening, including DOT physicals
- Minor surgical procedures, including removal of lesions and wart removal
- Laboratory, EKG and hearing screening services
- Sports physicals and minor orthopaedic problems
- X-ray and mammography
