The cardiopulmonary services department provides patients with therapeutic and diagnostic services in the disciplines of respiratory care and cardiology. Services provided include:

• Arterial Blood Gas Lab
• Cardiac Stress Testing
• Echocardiograms
• Electrocardiograms
• Holter/Cardiac Event Monitoring
• Pulmonary Function Testing
• Respiratory Therapy

The department is staffed by respiratory therapists, all of whom must pass the CRTT or RRT examination by the National Board for Respiratory Care and hold a current New Hampshire RCP license. Andrew Torkelson, MD, a cardiologist from Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, has offices at 249 County Road in New London and is on site weekly, providing office appointments for patients.
