New London Hospital (NLH) welcomes Timothy Lin, MD, to our orthopaedics practice.

A New England native with a passion for sports, photography and travel, Dr. Lin received his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Lin is conversational in five languages, and, in addition to completing residencies at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, he completed an orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at Taos Orthopaedic Institute immediately prior to joining our Medical Group.

Dr. Lin's clinical interests cover a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, and he has experience in arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgery; minimally invasive ACL surgery; joint restoration, including hip, knee and shoulder replacement; and cartilage restoration.

"I feel lucky to have the ability to help patients with pain, dysfunction and decreased quality of life get back their desired level of activity," says Dr. Lin, whose sports medicine experience includes stints with the US Ski Team and Dartmouth College's football, rugby and hockey teams.

Dr. Lin looks forward to bringing his expertise and interests to New London.

"I can see that the community is close, caring and active, and that New London Hospital plays a special part in the cohesion of the community," he says. "I'm excited to be part of a team that provides quality local care, and dedicated to helping New London patients remain as active as possible."

A Dartmouth-Hitchcock provider, Dr. Lin also sees patients at New London Hospital. Call 603-526-5314 to schedule an appointment with him.
