MATT PETRIN, OTR/L APPOINTED TO THE NH EMERGENCY MEDICAL AND TRAUMA SERVICES COORDINATING BOARD

Matt Petrin, OTR/L, director of Sports Medicine and Therapy Services at New London Hospital (NLH), has been appointed by Governor Maggie Hassan to the NH Emergency Medical and Trauma Services Coordinating Board (EMTSCB). The EMTSCB was created by statute to oversee the administration and planning of a coordinated statewide system of emergency medical patient care. The 22-member board represents various EMS-related organizations in the state. Petrin is representing the NH Association of Rehabilitation Administrators, of which he is the current president.

Petrin, a 19-year employee of NLH is responsible for the coordination and delivery of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services operations at New London Hospital as well as the outpatient rehabilitation program at Newport Health Center. He is a certified ergonomic assessment specialist and has recently completed a master trainer certification course for "A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls."
