NEW LONDON HOSPITALl PROMOTES CONTINUING EDUCATION

Two New London Hospital (NLH) physical therapists, Glorie Galpin and Sara Goulette, each recently earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree with assistance from the NLH Employee Education Scholarship Fund.

Made possible in part by funding from generous community donors, Galpin and Goulette pursued this advanced education for professional growth and in response to their commitment to the patients they serve at NLH.
Galpin, who has been part of the NLH physical therapy department for eight years, earned her DPT degree from the University of Montana. Goulette started as an NLH physical therapist in 2002. She earned her DPT degree from the University of New England in Biddeford, ME where she had completed her undergraduate work.

Each year the NLH Employee Education Scholarship Fund provides much needed support for staff to further their professional development and enhance their credentials, an investment in NLH and in the community it serves.
