New London Hospital (NLH) is pleased to announce that Richard Osborne, MD has joined its Internal Medicine Practice. Prior to joining NLH, Osborne was a partner and staff cardiologist at Southern California Permanente Medical Group at Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center. He was a designated naval flight surgeon and has received two Meritorious Service medals and a Navy Commendation Medal. In addition, he served for two years as senior medical officer aboard the USS Midway.
Dr. Osborne earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He completed a residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and a fellowship in cardiology at the naval Hospital in San Diego, California. He also served as the chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine and the head of Cardiology Division at the Naval Hospital. Dr. Osborne is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases and is seeing patients at New London Hospital. He may be reached at 603-526-5275.
