Bruce King, CEO & President, and NLH's Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Greg Curtis, met with several retired and, in some cases, semi-retired physicians this summer over coffee at NLH. The conversation spanned many topics, including how NLH is managing through the economic challenges presented by the current recession and the unfolding of healthcare reform legislation. Much of the discussion centered around the breadth of services offered by the Hospital. The physicians all agreed that they are often consulted by friends and neighbors for their expertise and they were interested in having a working knowledge of the full range of care provided by the hospital.
