New London Hospital’s Skilled Nursing Program is specially designed for patients who no longer need acute care, but are not quite ready to return home. Examples of the need for Skilled Nursing care include patients who have daily speech, physical or occupational therapy; patients who need frequent wound care; and those on long-term antibiotics.
